Cabernet Sauvignon Rosso Verona Doc – Le Ragose
£35,00
This Cabernet Sauvignon showcases a classic Bordeaux character combined with a unique Italian charm.
Territory: The vineyards encompass 1.64 acres and have been planted since 1987. They have a west-southwest exposure and feature red and brown clays as well as Eocene limestone. The vineyards use a simple trellis system.
Vinifcation: The grapes are hand-selected and placed in plastic trays directly in the vineyard. They undergo maceration for up to 12 days and are fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged 24 to 36 months in new and used Troncais and Allier oak casks.
Tasting Note: The wine is deep, dense, ruby-red with violet reflections. Its bouquet is lush and powerful, filled with aromas of cassis, olive, dark chocolate, and pepper. It is distinctive and ample, with a long and persistent finish.
