Vinification: This natural Tuscan red wine is crafted from 100% Sangiovese grapes sourced from 17 to 20-year-old vines. It undergoes spontaneous fermentation and a ten-day skin maceration, allowing for rich colour and flavour extraction. Aged in terracotta amphorae without added sulfites or filtration, it embodies a pure expression of its terroir, reflecting the organic and biodynamic practices of its producer, La Ginestra.
Tasting note: It showcases a stunning ruby red colour and captivating aromas of red and black fruits, with earthy undertones of humus and hints of black pepper. Its smooth, velvety tannins are perfectly balanced with vibrant acidity, leading to a persistent, memorable finish. The ageing in amphora adds a unique texture and complexity, making it a remarkable expression of Sangiovese.
