The origin of Vollereaux champagne dates back to 1805 in Pierre et Moussy, situated in the heart of the Champagne region. It was here that the family’s first generation nurtured their grapevines, laying the foundation of a rich legacy that now spans nearly 100 acres of vineyards on the sun-drenched southern slopes of Épernay in the Marne Valley. With a careful blend of 50% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 20% Meunier, these vines thrive in clay-limestone soil that maintains moisture and captures the sun’s warmth. The harvest is a meticulous process, marrying traditional techniques with modern technology, employing both traditional and contemporary presses to enhance the unique character of the grapes. The bottles are then aged in the cool, dark depths of two-hundred-year-old cellars, where time and yeast collaborate to create effervescence in a serene and historic setting.
