“Campomasua” has a dense garnet red color, intense and bright. The nose is initially austere and introspective, dense and very concentrated, gradually revealing its true nature. Sweet scents emerge reminiscent of small dark fruits, petals of dried violets and roses, cocoa powder, plum and walnut. On the palate it is juicy, decisive, tasty, balanced and of great finesse.
The very long refinement to which this wine is subjected allows all its substance to blend slowly. Just like the gnarled trunk of an old vineyard, which, imperturbable, continues to grow and bear fruit, so too “Campomasua” knows how to evolve over time and give new nuances over the years.
