Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Docg – Venturini
£45,30
Vinification: A remarkable blend of 70% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, and 5% Molinara, sourced from Monte Masua in Valpolicella Classica at an elevation of 250 meters, the vineyards benefit from a light, calcareous soil. Vines, approximately 30 years old, yield 60 quintals of grapes per hectare. After meticulous hand harvesting in late September, the grapes are dry until January before being fermented, matured for 24 months in oak, and aged in a bottle for an additional six months.
Tasting Note: It showcases a rich, luminous garnet-red colour, exuding concentrated aromas of sweet violets and macerated cherries, accented by hints of pepper and cloves. The palate is bold and warm, perfectly balanced with lively acidity and firm tannins, offering an elegant sip that concludes with a lingering finish of sweet, spirited small fruits.
