Anima di Negroamaro Lizzano Dop Superiore – Tenuta Emèra
£19,00
Vinification: Negroamaro grapes are cultivated on spurred cordon-trained vines in medium-textured, skeletal-rich soils. Harvest occurs in late September using mechanised equipment during cooler hours, ensuring grape yields of around 80 quintals per hectare. During vinification, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at 21-23°C, and after 15 days of maceration with frequent pump-overs for extraction, the wine ages for 6 months in stainless steel, followed by 3 months in barriques for character development.
Tasting note: It showcases an intense ruby colour, with aromas of black currant, blackberries, spices, and balsamic herbs. Its palate is complex and harmonious, boasting a fine, delicate texture and mineral nuances, while still delivering a lasting finish. The nose reveals fruity notes of wild blackberries, ripe plums, and sour cherries, enhanced by an intense balsamic quality.
