Celia – Ribera del Duero Do – Bodegas Vizcarra

Vinification: Celia is a rare, limited-production wine, crafted from the finest selection of grapes sourced from 55-year-old vines in a unique vineyard. Primarily comprised of 95% Tinto Fino and 5% Garnacha, this exquisite vintage undergoes meticulous hand harvesting and a detailed fermentation process in open 400-litre barrels. It matures gracefully for 16 months in a blend of French and American oak, ultimately yielding only 2,000 bottles of a deeply nuanced and elegant wine, free from filtration.

Tasting Note: This wine, with its deep cherry red hue and violet reflections, boasts a distinctive floral character likely from the Garnacha. It entices the senses with ripe blackberry and plum aromas, complemented by subtle spicy notes and a mineral touch from oak aging.
