Châteauneuf du Pape Aoc Rouge – Domaine de la Graveirette

Vinification: Hand harvesting and a rigorous two-tier selection process, ensuring only the finest grapes reach the winery. Destemmed and fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks for three to four weeks, it is subsequently aged for 30 months in both stainless steel and demi-muids. Comprising 90% Grenache alongside 5% Syrah and Cinsault, the grapes thrive in sandy clay soils enriched with rounded pebbles, enhancing the wine’s character.

Tasting Note: This full-bodied yet brisk wine presents a delightful interplay of ripe plum, black cherry, and dark forest berry confit, complemented by herbaceous and mineral nuances. Its glossy texture balances fresh acidity and fine-grained tannins, leading to a juicy palate with hints of coffee, sweet spices, and a subtle cocoa note, concluding with a sweet finish and minerality.
