Vinification: A blend of 90% Tinto Fino, derived from venerable 50-year-old vines, and 10% youthful Merlot from 11-year-old plants. Crafted using traditional methods, it ferments in 400-litre open barrels with careful maceration, allowing for optimal extraction of flavour and colour. After completing malolactic fermentation, it matures gracefully for 16 months in a mix of French and American oak, resulting in a concentrated, structured wine with remarkable complexity.
Tasting Note: It displays an intense picota cherry hue with violet reflections, radiating elegance and warmth. On the palate, it is fleshy and silky, boasting ripe tannins and harmonious integration of fruit and oak. The nose reveals a bouquet of vibrant cherries, dried fruits, spices, and floral notes, enriched with cocoa and balsamic hints. Its long, persistent finish offers toasty nuances, showcasing a perfect balance of ripeness, acidity, and character that invites reflection.
