Per Vitem Ad Vitam – Côte de Bourg Aop Rouge – Château Gros Moulin
£18,00
Vinification: “Per Vitem Ad Vitam,” meaning “from vine to life,” is a signature wine from the estate, showcasing a powerful Bordeaux blend of 60% Malbec and 40% Merlot, alongside elements of Cabernet Franc. Crafted organically and biodynamically, it undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for twelve months in 100% new oak barrels, imparting a structured character that reflects both the vineyard’s commitment to quality and the essence of its terroir.
Tasting Note: It showcases a rich, dark red hue reminiscent of black ink, exuding a confident nose filled with coffee, cinnamon, and sandalwood. The palate bursts with an abundance of ripe fruits like strawberry and blackcurrant, complemented by hints of mango and gooseberry. Its structure is beautifully balanced, with well-integrated tannins and a lingering smokiness, reflecting a legacy of excellence.
