Syrah Terre Siciliane Igt Donsar – Baglio Oro

Vinification: The process begins with meticulous hand-picking of grapes during cooler hours to maintain their freshness, followed by destemming. This is followed by controlled temperature maceration, allowing the extraction of colour and flavour, and culminating in alcoholic fermentation lasting 18 to 25 days. After racking, the wine matures in stainless steel and large oak cherry barrels for six months, refining its character before bottling.

Tasting Note: It showcases a deep ruby hue with garnet reflections, embodying a captivating allure reminiscent of a Mediterranean sunset. Its nose reveals vibrant aromas of balsamic cherry jam and spices, while the palate offers a velvety, powerful experience, rich with flavours of ripe blackberries, pepper, and subtle hints of smoke and chocolate. Elegantly balanced, this wine reflects a harmonious blend of fruitiness and oak, making it an exceptional choice for discerning palates.
