Tai Rosso Doc Barbarano “Cio’ Bacaro” – Pialli
£34,20
Vinification: 100% Tai Rosso, the indigenous grape variety. Hand-harvested to ensure quality, the grapes undergo skin contact maceration, extracting colour and flavour. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts promotes an authentic expression of the terroir, followed by aging in large oak barrels that enhance depth without overpowering the fruit. The result is a vibrant wine with harmonious balance, making it an excellent companion for a variety of culinary pairings.
Tasting Note: Pialli’s Tai Rosso Barbarano “Cio Bacaro” beautifully captures the essence of the Tai Rosso grape with its enticing aromas of ripe cherries and plums, complemented by floral and earthy notes. On the palate, it features bright acidity and smooth tannins, leading to a satisfying finish with hints of spice and minerality. This versatile wine pairs well with a variety of dishes.
