Tempranillo Madurado – Oak Age – Rioja Do – Bodegas Montebuena
£16,00
VInfication: This exquisite wine, made entirely from Tempranillo, begins with a pre-fermentation maceration that enhances its vibrant colour and enticing aromas. The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks for twelve days at 27ºC before undergoing a five-month maturation in new American and French oak barrels. This ageing process imparts a lovely woody nuance, adding depth and character to the final product, resulting in a beautifully balanced and aromatic wine.
Tasting Notes: Displaying a beautiful garnet-red hue, it offers an aromatic bouquet of floral notes, red and black forest fruits, and subtle hints of graphite, roasted nuts, and dried herbs. On the palate, it reveals fresh red fruit flavours, complemented by a whisper of dry herbs and silky tannins, culminating in a harmonious and elegant finish.
