Gavi Docg del Comune di Gavi “Ronco del Mandorlo” – Cascina delle Monache
£40,70
From the oldest vineyard, the «Ronco del Mandorlo,» comes a distinct white wine. The plants are over 40 years old, and the result is bright and rich, with something unique and unexpected.
Single vineyard selection: the grapes are carefully hand-picked from a single vineyard, destemmed, and gently pressed. Once the first juice is released, it undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation and remains on the lees to achieve the perfect balance of mouthfeel and flavour.
Pale straw yellow with golden highlights. Hints of ripe apple, white peach, thyme, and citrus. Acidity and flavour are fully present. The wine is rich and harmonious, with notes of lemon peel and caramelized sugar.
