Malvasia Brda Slovenja – Valter Sirk – Magnum
£56,50
The straw yellow colour, freshness, and remarkable minerality are captivating, and Istrian Malvasia has the typical hints of chamomile flowers.
This wine is carefully aged to perfection. It undergoes a unique double-overturned training system, cryomaceration, soft pressing, and classic vinification. Eighty per cent of the maturation occurs in steel tanks, while the remaining twenty per cent occurs in used oak barrels. After 15 months of this meticulous ageing process, it is bottled, ready to be enjoyed.
Number of bottles produced was about 7,000.
