Malvasia Igt Venezia Giulia – Damijan Podversic
£53,30
Organoleptic description: By getting the glass near the nose, we discover the shy characteristic of the semi-aromatic Malvasia. From the first to the last sip, all of her beauty is released in a succession of spicy and herbal aromas, such as green pepper and tomato leaf.
Vinification: The maceration begins in big oak barrels for 60 to 90 days. After the fermentation, it is aged in 20 or 30 hl barrels for three years and rests for one year in bottles.
Intense, gold. Intense aromas of fresh, ripe white orchard fruit, spicy and herbal aromas like tomato leaf, with a hint of orchard blossoms. Wet-rock minerality overlaying ripe pears and floral notes with a honey-like aftertaste. Outstanding length and balance with ripe, lush tannins.
