Côtes de Bourg Aop Rouge – Château Gros Moulin
£15,00
Vinfication: The winery embraces sustainable agriculture, adapting their methods to seasonal climatic variations. Their traditional vin de garde captures the essence of the vine’s environment, focusing on authentic typicity rather than consistency. The exceptional blend features 40% Malbec, 40% Merlot, and 20% Cabernet Franc, sourced from vineyards aged between 11 and 65 years. Aged for six months in partially used barriques, the wine beautifully reflects the Côtes de Bourg terroir, with traditional vinification enhancing its depth and character.
Tasting Note: This elegant wood-aged wine shimmers with a deep ruby hue and purple highlights. Its captivating nose reveals a melange of red and black fruits, earthy undertones, and gentle spice. On the palate, vibrant flavors of blackberry and cherry harmonise with silky tannins, a hint of minerality, and a touch of vanilla, culminating in a rich, rounded finish that showcases its complexity.
