Greco di Tufo Docg “Puddinghe” – Cantina Sanpaolo
£28,00
Vinification: “Puddinghe” is an exceptional wine made from 100% Greco grapes, hailing from a small vineyard in the historic Borgo Antico of San Paolo in Campania. Its radiant straw-yellow colour, accented by golden reflections, results from fermentation in stainless steel and six months of ageing on the lees. Notably, 9% of the wine matures in French oak barriques for four months, followed by an additional twelve months of bottle ageing, enhancing its complexity and depth.
Tasting Note: It showcases a remarkable balance of freshness from the grape variety and rich soil characteristics, offering mineral and fruity notes. Its complex bouquet features peach, loquat, cedar, and ginger, with hints of hazelnuts, mint, and vanilla. On the palate, it is refreshingly vibrant, savoury, and well-structured with a pleasing persistence that lingers beautifully.
