Monastrell y Garnacha – Valencia Do – Bodega Casa Los Frailes
£15,00
Vinification: Blend of 70% Monastrell and 30% Garnacha Tintorera, each variety meticulously vinified separately. The manual harvest was followed by destemming and gentle pressing, with fermentation occurring in temperature-controlled inox tanks. The Garnacha undergoes 14 days of post-fermentative maceration, while the Monastrell matures for 18 days. Both wines are then aged for eight months, the Monastrell in concrete and the Garnacha Tintorera in 225L oak barrels, resulting in a harmonious and complex blend.
Tasting Notes: It presents a deep hue underscored by rich purple tones and a fragrant bouquet of ripe red fruits like strawberries, entwined with darker, earthy notes. The palate is smooth and vibrant, featuring sour cherry nuances and subtle hints of oak, while the finish is long and elegant, marked by fine tannins and a refreshing brightness.
