Born in 2023 from a passion for wine, Cros des Calades is a cherished project that serves as a natural extension of the creators’ work at Château de la Selve. Located in Grospierres, merely a few kilometres from their historic estate, this unique winery produces organic wines from grapes sourced across five vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley, stretching from the Drôme to the Gard. Adhering to a philosophy rooted in respect for the terroir, each cuvée is crafted with minimal intervention. The aim is to highlight the purity and freshness of the wines. Cros des Calades presents a delightful range, including red, white, and rosé options, as well as an orange wine, a classic sparkling, and a sparkling rosé—each to be enjoyed and shared freely. Florence and Benoît diligently oversee the process, ensuring that every wine is a sincere expression of its origins. With a careful selection of parcels and a commitment to nurturing enduring relationships with vineyard owners, they strive to capture the essence of each vintage, revealing the vibrant character of the southern Rhône through their wines.
