Tempranillo – Artero

£21,70

One hundred percent Tempranillo is from old vines. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes are inspected and pre-macerated for twenty-four hours at seven degrees Celsius. They are then destemmed and crushed. Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel tanks for eight days at a controlled temperature of twenty-five degrees Celsius, after which the tanks are bled and the skins are pressed. The next step is malolactic fermentation, after which the wine is finally filtered and bottled.

View: Clean and bright cherry red with a medium layer and violet rim.
Nose: aromas of ripe blueberries and blackberries, along with an interesting herbaceous touch.
Palate: Broad and smooth, with flavours of red fruits. Balanced and persistent flavour.
