“Orange One” Igt Venezia Giulia – Paraschos
£36,00
Vinification: The winery is committed to rediscovering traditional cultivation and vinification methods, resulting in an authentic Gorizian white wine made from local varieties like Friulano, Malvasia Istriana, and Ribolla Gialla. The grapes are harvested at full ripeness, macerated with their skins, and undergo spontaneous fermentation with manual techniques. The wine is aged for 30 months in large oak barrels without added sulphites or filtration, ensuring the preservation of its authentic character..
Tasting note: A vibrant amber colour with enticing aromas of dried fruit, citrus zest, and floral notes, along with hints of herbs and spices. On the palate, it is rich and textured, featuring balanced acidity and flavours of ripe orange, quince, and a touch of nuttiness. The finish is long and slightly tannic, showcasing the wine’s unique character and craftsmanship, reflecting a delightful blend of tradition and innovation.
