Fattoria di Magliano is a young wine-making company that covers an area of 97 hectares in the heart of the picturesque Maremma region of Tuscany. It was established by Agostino Lenci in 1997.
All the vineyards are situated on hilly terrain, approximately 300m above sea level. They gently slope towards the Tyrrhenian Sea, Mount Argen
tario, and the Isle of Giglio. The soil exhibits a medium consistency, with a high proportion of sand, sufficient clay, no lime, and a notably rich texture. These factors, pairedwith ample sunlight and sea breezes, enable us to produce exceptional full-bodied wines that can age well, including those made from white grapes, focusing on three grape varieties: Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, and Syrah. The estate’s flagship wine is “Poggio Bestiale,” a red blend made
primarily from Sangiovese grapes.
