Heba – Morellino di Scansano Docg – Fattoria di Magliano

£19,50

Vinification: The Heba wine, named after the ancient Etruscan term for Magliano, pays homage to its roots with a label featuring a historic Etruscan head. Composed of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Syrah, the grapes are hand-harvested and gently fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 to 20 days. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in unglazed cement tanks for six to nine months and rests in bottles for a further six months, developing its depth and character.

Tasting Note: This vibrant red wine enchants with aromas of cherries, red berries, and delicate floral notes, underscored by sweet spices. On the palate, it offers warmth and juiciness, balanced by refreshing acidity and smooth tannins. The elegant character is enhanced by hints of spice from the Syrah, resulting in a delightful, easy-drinking experience with a brilliant ruby hue.
