Merlot Igt Veneto – Ca Vescovado

Vinification: It is produced from 100% Merlot grapes, cultivated using the Sylvoz training system at a density of 2,400 plants per hectare, yielding 80-90 quintals per hectare. Grown in flat, fertile alluvial soil rich in mineral salts like calcium carbonate and magnesium, the grapes undergo destemming and a 10-12 day maceration with skins. Fermented at a controlled temperature of 20-22 °C, the wine is then refined in steel tanks for 8-9 months, with an additional six months’ bottle ageing.

Tasting Note: This wine captivates with its floral aroma of rose and violets. It features velvety tannins that enhance its dry, full-bodied, and harmonious flavour profile. The striking ruby-red colour, highlighted by violet reflections, adds to its visual appeal, making it a truly elegant choice.
