Rosso “Reâl” Colli Orientali Del Friuli DOC, Moschioni
£41,80
This is a full-bodied red wine. It is deep ruby red with purple shades. On the palate, there is plenty of high but sweet tannin hiding below all the glycerine and fruit. It has a very pleasant balsamic ending.
The aromatic profile is focused on ripe fruit: strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry jam, floral scents of mountain cyclamen, and red rose intermixed with a spicy note of cinnamon.
Winemaking and ageing:
This wine is a result of meticulous craftsmanship. It ages for several months in barriques, then in large oak barrels, allowing its flavours to mature and deepen. Finally, it undergoes a period of bottle-ageing, enhancing its complexity and character.
